The Local Charity That’s Really Making A Difference
Crest is a charity based in North Wales, first established as a social enterprise in 1998 and evolved from a project run by Scope. In 2020, Crest was granted charitable status. Initially the project was established with one of the very first lottery grants and the aim of the project was to establish a community co-operative, to help disabled and unemployed people increase their skills and gain employment – either within the co-operative or to move on to sustainable employment within the community.
Our Mission
“Unlocking people’s potential through inclusion, innovation and enterprise, for the benefit of our community.”

Volunteer
Our volunteers are the backbone of our operation. Without them, we would be unable to help our local community in as many ways as we do. Aside from at team of volunteer support-workers working with adults with learning difficulties. We have incredible volunteers in almost every area of our organisation. From equipment repair and retail to delivery and presenting on Crest Radio.
The work we do at Crest is diverse and always rewarding. If you have time on your hands and you’d like to become part of our team and help your community, just get in touch and we’ll help you find the perfect role at Crest. A role in which you can contribute, develop and belong.
