How has FareShare North Wales benefited others?
Touchstones 12, Colwyn Bay – a residential rehabilitation centre for people with alcohol or drug addiction
“I am always touched with someone shows the hand of friendship to our Clients and Fareshare North Wales is no exception. It still seems unreal when we receive a phonecall each week telling us what produce there is and [asking] what would we like?”
“Our ethos is to provide the clients with nutritional meals working to a budget, something the will need to do when moving onto independent living.”
“FareShare North Wales not only provide ingredients to do this but luxuries as well. Such as fresh orange juice and tins of sweets. We are able to make savings on our weekly food shopping as we also receive coffee and tea, with an average of 18 clients these two commodities alone enable us to make a saving and as an example we use this to purchase more fresh fruit and vegetables and more tender cuts of meat.”
